Well it is always a job with sisters or was years since,because times were hard and one had to fight to for most things. Sadly in big families there were always favorites the little plump girl with one black eye glass was always rejected. I expect your Mum had another motive,

Aha, the aunties! It's so difficult when kids don't know the full story, and sometimes one is not able to tell them at a tender age. But they find out...

Grownups can be such a pain to deal with at times, especially the nosy ones...I have come across a few in my day...

grown ups so often forget what it is like to be a child, especially if there shildhood had been reasonably uneventful. taken away like that without explanation and dumped into nowhere must have been so scary for you three.
