Well, it seems medical care is horribly expensive for our fur family
as well as ourselves. I hope this does it and she's A-OK again soon. Don't blame Charlie for not favoring the extreme cold. Shivering even now as I think on it.
BTW, I keep forgetting to pick up a mailing box to send a friend some crocheted hats, even though I'm enjoying the moon calendar very much. Soon, there will be a congruence between memory and being in the office supply aisle...

Dear old lady...I am thrilled that her kidneys are working well and when she is not in pain she is a happy loveing kitty and companion. costs have become crazy over my life time. peole either give up an animal or worse abandon it. vets should think that through.

Re: CCT,
When I consider how many cats there have been in my life, and how many others should have had better vet care, back when I couldn't pay for it, this averages out fairly enough.

Re: RPresta,
The two chips makes me wonder how many times she has gone astray in her 18 years, how many times she has been in shelters. I know she'd had dental work done just before I got her, though clearly not enough, and I know she was chipped at that time. Maybe the previous chip wasn't readable?

Yes one has to be devoted to one's pet. She hit it lucky.
