Yes I suppose well it could have been her silent way of asking for comfort, it does not seem that she had much of that going for her. Poor Mum. She was only human.

Pat - This really hit home so much...
I identify so well with your post today. Yes, people really do suffer and as a young teen I tended to think verbalizing ailments and other problems was a sign of weakness. It took a long time for me to learn otherwise. In the end, it is our parents (as a rule, and for most people) are the ones who will go to the ends of the earth for us. Thank you.

My beautiful friend. Your strength helps me more than you could know. i do agree though that a hug often helps sometimes human touch canactually heal pain...if only briefly.
