A great exercise. To be objective about describing oneself, yet put into words something reasonably interesting to read without being off-putting-not easily done. Please keep us posted as to how everyone's bio turned out.

Bio's are difficult. My son once pointed out to me that there waas no need to start. I am a wofe and Mother...he said quite rightly surely these aspects don't define you as a person.

I love it!
Writing bios can be difficult when we have been taught to be modest, to never toot our own horns. Might I suggest making it a three-part exercise: Write one bio severely modestly, one outrageously boastful, and finally one that would actually be suitable for use. In that order.
