Thank you, CCT, for your comment on the poem. Some just work better than others; this not being one of those. lol. You say it's a pity I did not write when I was younger but, in point of fact, I started writing in my 20s, though I didn't keep most of the material. It would be quite dated now anyway. These days, I have little time to write poetry, though I do so enjoy it. Again, your comments are most appreciated.

Well RP I was coming back to suss out your morning poem, but I guess you were not happy with it. Sometimes I find if I do not rate anything much I snip bits out and keep the stuff that I think warrants its place. It is a bit tough for you not having a big reserve of material to fall back on. About 6 or seven years ago I wrote a poem every day for at least a year, it was not a happy time. Yes I wish you had written more when you were really young, but nothing is that easy. I am afraid I cannot feel very motivated these days, I think it would need half a bottle of wine and I limit myself to the recommended allowance. Be happy.

Well big sis, I was that typical withdrawn types when it came to say I love you. I was invariably stopped by the feeling what if she were to feel offended. Although after marriage she did confide how eagerly she wanted me to say that sweet thing. On this front my courage would always buckle. Only if I had read your poem back in time.
