Well Kabu I am not one for making lewd jokes but one cannot get 1lb of strawberries and nearly 1lb of sugar into a 1lb jam-pot. Indecently my brother is so damned particular that he made me write MANKY on any soft fruit that I froze. He likes to examine every single berry, he is worse than a scientist. Anyway I could not find any frozen fruit with Manky on the packets,so I may have given those to Archie.. If you had been next door I would have given the Manky ones to you.

My Mum made Jam for sale when we were kids. I can see her now with wasps hovering around and she did not take a bit of notice of them. Thank you for the compliment.

i have tried jams and jellies, never set just right for me, but we ate it anyway.
well perhaps it takes us girls a while to decide who the good ones are, but we always do.
