I am afraid the little wretch would not last long outside. In am having a trouble writing poetry at the moment. I do try now and again, I just wish i could write a really good one and then resign let you young chicks carry on regardless.

When my boys were little, we raised a lot of these butterflys because we grew lots of parsley. They loved doing that and watching the process.
It's a black swallowtail.

I like Kabu's idea that your caterpillar might morph into a blue
butterfly. Cycle of life, etc. What a sad tone to your poem today, melancholy. I like it, good work.
