My grandma had such an authoritative countenance (though kind to me) that outwardly she always gave the impression that she is carrying a revolver in her purse.

I also like grandma stories. I used to beg my mother to tell me more stories about Grandma Jelinek who grew up and married in Bohemia before she came to America by way of The Statue of Liberty.
