i have moved so many times in my life so my concept of gardening is to start the first spring no procrastination and ask the neighbors watch what sells quickly in the nurseries and walk or drive the neighborhood to onserve what grows best locally.

I think the Chelsea has gone over the top Ciel. It appeared to be more of a sculptured affair. I think it would be fairer to limit expenditure and make the exhibits sell themselves.
A pity you cannot get some old models and dress them artistically , that would be fun and a good sales point.

I love to walk through a garden created by an expert, especially those
English gardens with all their variety and precision. The 3-day festival sounds like good fun and a feast for the eyes. Hugs to Embers.
