Probably Dickens I do remember keep reading too far ahead and losing the plot.

Well, I forget the number of assignments I was given; there were so many. One of my all time faves is Ayn Rand's Fountainhead - Howard Roark, my motivation, to be the individual that I am. Equally fascinated I am by Vikram Seth's A Suitable Boy, probably the second lengthiest novels after Tolstoy's War and Peace. J

"Midsummer Night's Dream,"oddly enough! Sophmore year of high school. That and "Romeo and Juliet, same quarter, same year." We, as a class, studied both plays line-by-line. Wonderful experience for me! Gave me both an intro and insight into Shakespeare.
