Re: Aba bro

Thank you, dear Aba, for your comment. I had never thought to compare Gandhi and Shelley with their Utopian ideas! How brilliant! Perhaps an abridged version, divided into different posts. Or that might be more too much work?

Re: FSI

Thank you. Yes, if there was any poetic justice that was it!

dear Presta Sis

Shelley is amongst one of my favouritist poets as the most natural lyricist of the English language. His works would invariably soar on the wings of poetry and is so uplifting in his messages to man, and you rightly reply to C C T's comment that your family values him for his humility and all the ethics and morals he brought as his invaluable contribution. I once wrote a Paper comparing and contrasting Gandhi's and Shelley's concepts of Utopia in the Journal of Arts department of our university. It's rather long so I never posted it on Blogit. His, 'O winds, if Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?' has been my all-time source of motivation.

That is wonderful that it reminded him of the Mother Country. I am glad that he was able to get a chance to see it.

Re: CCT

Thank you. Sadly, I didn't know him because he died early. I benefited only from his humility as a foreigner in a new land, his tenacity and quiet determination to succeed, and his honesty, wisdom and highly developed sense of ethics which he taught to his  children. And it was his relatives who first moved to California, so he didn't really find it. He wished he had.

Well RP I suppose California is about the same size as England. your Granddad picked a nice spot no doubt. I hope you benefited  from his experience.
