Ron was in the Navy. He said swearing was very common then. He rarely does it now. Like me, it's more when gets really upset.

never swore until my husband left 3 years ago, now i swear like a trooper when i am alone. i don't think my dogs mind.

Well we would not have been allowed to swear at home. Once in the forces as young lads we swore every second word I would imagine using the same word in many different forms for a change. I was teased for a start as I used to say Damn!  I rarely swear now only if i am really provoked.

I don't swear in public. I was brought up in a home where my nuclear family never used profanity. However, I'm half Italian, and that half swears!
