- Go to THE CHECK’S IN THE MAIL
So amusing how regretful the Post Office declares itself, but they don't offer one damn thing to make amends.

Pat - I just love your wit...
Hope the check was salvageable. What a mess! Literally. So sorry that happened.

sounds like you have learned to go-with-the-flow, but i really dislike having to get on the phone with a company.

I pay one bill eveymonth...to a shop of course. I buy all of mine and Wiley's must have clothing on line and I drag the shopping out through the year, rather than one huge bill to come in. I only replace stuff we wear or grow out of. I especially seem to buy clothes that shrink!!!! I pay the bill at the bank.

Cheques are a pain ,I know we can post them in a slot inside the bank, but if they are damaged it might be a tussle. Perhaps a dog chewed it.

Dealing with the big wigs can be such a hassle...I am not sure if the bank will be able to accept the check in its present form or not. It all depends on their scanners and how tape gels with them.

Don't you just love those kind of problems. I'd tell you one of my own except you would see, if you don't already know, just how dumb I am.
