Re: I am glad to know that Arthur is picky about his food,
The thing is Pat we don't use a waste food bin some actually fill it each fortnight .I use all veggie waste as compost and if we accidentally do have something suspicious I bury it.

Re:
I would be careful RP. I am afraid many folk are not very hygienic . I suppose we must be immune to many germs or we would not last long. I but grapes but soak them in Milton for a while, I know some mothers don't swill after using it but I prefer to do so.

Re:
Well Taps a lady who used to blog on here did post me some good oil painting pictures. She said she had been taught professionally sadly she was caring for her mother and the poor dear could not stand the smell of the paints.

As someone who has been dealing with food poisoning, this really hits home with me.

Enjoyed both of your poems very much. Makes me think I should go back to trying to write some again.

Well done on "Canvas". I liked that.
I tried painting with oils once. I should have taken lessons first.

I'm with Arthur. You can't be too careful. I saw them plucking eggs from one carton and putting them in a newer one. I saw them do that also with strawberries. Eeuwww! And a lovely, sweet poem.

I am glad to know that Arthur is picky about his food,
and refuses to buy stuff too close to the sell-by date. It's nice to have a bit of leeway should you not get up in a mood to cook and it has to linger awhile.
