I loved it because we had winter with snow every year and spent most of it outside. There's nothing better than to be a child when snow is on the ground.

great post...
You started your life in the winter snows and I am ending mine. When I first came here I made snow angels now I happily sit inside with my hot coffee and watch the snow fall. I loved the story my friend.

So, are you saying it snowed in Florida? I remember the snow in the Eastern US when I was a child. We were bundled up so never cold.

Going down the slope, sledding on the side of the house, and then, in the living room, my mother, making a big thing. She helped me pull off the wet clothes and get into dry ones.

Re:
yes, smiling, i would make many snowballs and hide them behind the snow fort so that you could rapid fire, instead of waiting to make another snowball.

For years now we have not had a really deep snow, but there is still that childhood magic feeling that accompanies a real heavy fall.Although I don't think you would want to get in man snowball fights unless you knew you could win them.
