I have a plastic container of halloween mini candy bars. It is slowly going down.

I have too much candy hiding in my cupboard. I believe that anyone who comes even near the place will get chocolates. A lot of traffic down at the road, perhaps I will go down and give them out by the handful on Christmas eve LOL. no probably we will enjoy sickening ourselves with eating fudge and chocolate.

Yes it is a shame that things we like usually we are better without, I hope our Rib Cage is setting you a good example, no good if he is taking advantage of your dilemma.

I amd pretty darn sure that if you'd bought sugar-free treats, you'd

have had no trouble staying away from them. There's some little devil on the shoulder whispering in one year that wins out from the little angel on the other when we know something is verboten. Enjoy a happy and healthy Christmas season... :)

I saw that with the cow also.....and I, too, smiled at it.

TAPS

Hah, I loved hearing about the cow! You're right, much more pleasant than all the other news. It's to the point where I am done with news - well, I say that, but... And it's true, diabetics crave sugar, though their bodies turn everything to sugar/glucose. Well, you know that. Basically, we all like a good treat at Christmas time, or anytime. My mother developed Type II Diabetes, and she was incorrigible. She would smoke, have cup after cup of hot tea with honey, along with 2 or 3 of those lovely Danishes, and then top that off with 2 or 3 sweetened yoghurts!!! Needless to say, this was before she was diagnosed, and she ended up in hospital with a glucose reading of over 500! And still, she was incorrigible. You know what to do. Great post.
