Re:RPresta
All one wants these days here RP is an acre of building land. As a TV comedienne said to a wealthy woman. What did you think when you met your millionaire husband. The woman had the good grace to smile.

Yes the old chap still warrants his place in the old rocking chair. We never have a whole bird. The leanest Xmas I had was a tin of beans and sausages. I had invites but it was not possible.

Re:
Yes Pat I was only thinking this morning how I used to wait to hear a trains whistle I2 midnight and then fetch 500 baby chicks and put them under lights with food and water.
Had to be up again at six to feed 2000 hens. The good old days

Sometimes a step back in time can fool you into thinking it was easier
then, not so much drama and trauma as now. Your poems make me think the sorrows of today are sufficient.

People have always been fascinated with time and time travel, it seems. Lovely photo of your flower. And one who lives next door to millionaires must not be doing to shabby himself! Guess the girl wasn't the brightest... LOL!

An interesting thing to be able to go back for a visit in time for just one day. I think I would go back to the Christmas season when Twinkletoes and I danced in the moonlight beneath the giant Christmas Tree all lit up with golden lights and red bells and the music playing "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year."
