With kids, things come up. They get sick, they have play dates, there are holiday programs, company arrives unexpectedly - no, Santa visits need some latitude in planning, imho.

Having a one-on-one visit with Santa was never a big deal for me, or later for my sons. There was always so many other things going on. I love all of the Christmas season music, the decorations, the goodies, seeing family. I'd rather see a Santa decoration in a decorated window that the real thing. (Is there a real thing? LOL)

I would like to think that one can just show up to see Santa. Therefore, I feel that it is unfair.
