Re: Aba bro
I know, I know, my big sis, that tolerating such as higgins's type, is no easy task in itself. And thank you that you liked the series which in a major way sprung from your queries.

Re: C C T
Yes, there are so many varieties of people with their quirks but are not innately bad, we accept them as they are, ignoring certain eccentricities

Aba bro
All valid points, dear Aba. I commend you for seeing them and pointing them out. And, thank you for this lovely post. The humor in the play does either complement or compensate for Higgins' quirky ways. Yet, I couldn't tolerate that personality in reality too long. LOL! Great job!

DoLittle makes for good reading, or watching but I wouldn't want to be a constant companion of such a man.

Well he is not fundamentally cruel, one can forgive a lot of eccentricities, in fact some normal accepted practices might appear bizarre to one of those out there.

I always felt that Eliza married freddy because Higgins never really saw her as a person and broke her heart. leading her to work harder at making her life a success to show him.
I had an aunt ...a young man from an old english snobbish family loved her and she him
he told her father that he loved the girl but hd to marry money for he was poor and no good at work.
My aunt when she died had more than 11 million in the 19190's and left it between her nieces and nephews. She wanted in her heart to show 'him' that he could have her and money for she had that uncanny ability some people do, to make money and not by robbing from others either.
