Sadly the strong usually pick on the weak. It happens in nature and we all know the role of bullies. Time sometimes sorts them out, but they are usually replaced.

Sorry I missed your post until now. I really like it. I like how you covered just how early the BS and bullying and affiliation with 'friends' starts. And, I really like how John or Joan Q. Public is counted upon to be distracted by topics so that issues of great import are not noticed as easily. Great post. Wake up, USA!

It has always been that way. Give the public something juicy to chew on and they won't notice that we're stealing their grocery money. Nothing dirtier than politics in my book. Noticed it as soon as I started reading newspapers. Even the mafia is more honest about what it does.
