On really hot days here my boss would let me come home and I'd work or make up the time. The reason was so my GSD could be comfy in the A/C with me. His goal in life was to just hang with me. lol. He was great and we lost him too young.

Becoming a full time mother again at my age, with the full time job? Once upon a time it would have been a skip and a jump. Now it's a skid and a bump!! And believe me, I've been feeling it more and more lately. It will help when they cut the job hours down. In the meantime we can worry about each other.

And yes, although I did work all day and was on the phone with the office often, at least I wasn't feeling guilty about the doggies spending so much time alone. It was nice for all of us.

Do you know Adnohr I think my ghost must have been around I keep reading comments which were apparently written by me and I am suprised by my audacity.
Perhaps I have aged 50 years but it only feels like 49. Dogs are good for for the inner child.
