Soup, especially the Chinese, is a daily serving in my dinner, something I almost can't do without, but not that hot. That kind of a burning will last forever.

Hmmm...I'll have to cadge a couple of those recipes, Annicita! I tend to use a lot of kale in things these days -- and I used to make a pretty good vegetarian vegetable soup, but I've kind of forgotten how. I'll try to disinter that one -- it was good, and not everything needs meat or fish.

Re:

You would have been a truly brave soul to eat anything out of the crock pot at Dirty Fred's, Kabu! But I will admit, I've gotten better over the years.

I love soup , all soup, I would have out lasted all of your whoosy mates. My dad always said, wave a pea over a pot of hot water and She ..being me...will drink it.

Wow, Ciel, that sounds great!

Definitely the start of an amazing thick as fog pea soup!

I love soup, too!

Right now I have the bone of a ham in the slow-cooker, and I am not sure what to do next with the ham stock. I have never been a big fan of ham until this one brand came along... Never cooked a whole one. So... Suggestions...?
