Re: Kabu

Darling, if I can lighten your load, I'd be happy to write all day! Or, in my case, night. LOL! Thank you, dear Kabu.

A lot of great metaphors in your poem.

Re: Re: JessieE/

I prefer meager offerings from the heart of a true friend than riches attached to caveats. I truly did love your poem.

One could not ask for much more. Truly a gentle poem.

Re: Aba Brother

Many thanks, Aba dear brother. I'm pleased you enjoyed it and read it aloud, and also that there is a depth to be found in this 'stuff.' LOL.

Re: JessieE/

Meager offerings from the heart are better than fat riches from the dirt. And yes, better than nothing to offer at all. In the literal, so true, and also, to offer a cup of kindness as a metaphor is okay, perhaps? Thank you, very much.

Dearest sis, Presta

The magic of the meager! I immensely enjoyed the sound effect of the words when I read it aloud. These poems of yours do have depth. Kudos! .

A meager offering indeed,; but meager is so much better than none at all! A sip of wine is so much better than a flagon of drunken memories soon forgotten!
