Yes who would be a school teacher? We used to tremble when some of ours took the class. One actually fired missiles from a toy cannon  at those misbehaving.

I really liked that.  Skipping rope was my favorite thing to do when I was a youngun.  Many years later I took it up again for exercise.  I could jump rope in front of my house and keep an eye on little sons at the same time.  Then they took it up too and the five of us competed.  I thought I was the best until Preacher bested me by 1,000.

This is a cute poem. So she climbed the tree looking for her jump rope? Some kids will run from class. They are a problem in real life. LOL.
