Good job you did not walk into a leper colony they would have died with fright. Best to have it on your tummy but not if it goes all the way round. I can brag I have had it twice.

Sometimes people are such idiots. At least you can have a laugh

at their expense as a bit of compensation for the misery. Obviously they're lucky individuals who've never (yet) had to deal with shingles.

Oh, this is a great post, dear lady! And are you ever right! I bet everyone wanted to know what happened. Disinfectant! I can picture that. It's great you were feeling up to going out. Now don't overdo. Sometimes going in public is a challenge when you have something wrong that people can see. There have been times for me also. Hope your chili is delicious! I haven't made that in years. They say I make it too mild...
