I love this post. How pretty it must have been early in the a.m.! And how interesting about your father and the Helbros watch. It almost seems like I recall hearing something about that. Me, I have an internal defect when it comes to time; though I am cogent of time and place, I tend to not be aware of hours and minutes when I'm busy.

It was raining here this am but yesterday when I was up before the sun I did see venus and the sunrise. It was great.

I'd love to see the moon and Venus as you did, but we had
serious overcast in the pre-dawn hours - although the coffee was just fine. I do a bit of thinking about time and the fact that minutes and hours and exactly what time it is largely is a fiction that we all accept as true in order to organize schedules and events. The words "the eternal now" are with me quite a bit these days.
