You pulled off a nice poem there...I remember the carefree days of childhood. They were nice.

Re: Pat

Well Pat not many admit to liking poetry. I really quite honestly do not know if I like it or not. It is like riding a Penny farthing bicycle as cars rush by. But sometimes there is nothing else that as you say touches the spot.

Re: Kabu

Yes it is funny, once one starts to fantasize about someone, it is a job to bring them back to just being a normal person with traits that may annoy over time. One for our Wiley

Yes I suppose we are just able to cope with our fears a little better and manage our emotions more discreetly. I don't think somethings improve with age only a good wine.

Both poems remind that things change with time. Perhaps we bend a little with time but we are still ourselves. Great writing.

speaking in picture that bring back memories of people I have know people that I wondered what if...people that I met later in life and shuddered at my escape, people who found out who they really were and one who could not live with that although so accepted and loved.

Sometimes your poetry touches an exact spot that brings

memory biting back - and it reminds me of a teacher who once told me poetry is universal which is why it appeals, even in translation.
