I don't usually do anything for Halloween. My place of work didn't even dress up this year...we usually do! I stopped handing out candy years ago.

We have a street that has thousands of kids pass through. The people spend a lot of money on candy and decorations. I love to go sit in front of the house with the train and watch the kids. Sometimes I hand out microwave popcorn packages. The parents love the idea!

I have heard of people who have not celebrated Halloween due to their religion. I myself am happy to participate in it.
