I remember when that song came out my mom explained to me about dance cards and how they had worked. I was saddened to hear about Fats Domino also. I always think of American Bandstand and him, and his big ol' smile. And also Little Richard...

and I loved that song too, well still do . it doesn't seem possible when I think back to songs especially that i got older so quick. Fats Domino Dying this week shook me for some reason, not just for his song, his voice and his darling gentle face, but the passing of time.

Yes I liked this, a kind of thoughts. I guess a lot of girls would like to
feel like this after a dance. 
I do wish you would have taken it seriously when I looked into your eyes.
I know it does not matter though you were sussing out the guys.
Of course I haven't your experience and obviously it shows.
I kept thinking the ground was uneven as I trod upon your toes.
