I hope the tree line works out! I tossed sunflower seeds all along the fence along the side of the yard. Not the regular kind, the ones out of the wild ones that grow everywhere around here. Almost everywhere. Not along my fence. Yet.

I think it must have been a good year all over.The crows usually take them as soon as they are fit of course a lot fall,but this year the crows have not appeared so I assume there must be a glut. Do not go to the visit the doctor with walnut stain on your hands,he will think you have been smoking.

Makes me remember every fall we would go to the park or woods to gather black walnuts to take home planning to crack and pick out the meats for cookies or fudge. Then they would lay there for months and months because no one would go to the trouble to get rid of the hulls or do the work. But it was fun to gather them.
