Like Pat-B's comment and your answer. That's the way to look at it, 'cause what's done is done. I still think you were wise to change credit cards, etc. that could cause you problems if accessed.

Re: FSI
The Best Buy store with its Geek Squad, is where I bought my computer several years ago, and they took care of any and all problems. But not too long ago that store closed down, so I'm at a loss when anything goes wrong.

Re: RPresta
I'm all right. Ribcage is worried enough for both of us. Getting all kinds of instruction from him on what to do and what not to do to keep such from happing.

Re: Kabu
Thank you for the invitation (LOL) I'm definitely tempted.
But I'm afraid my sons would show up and cart me back.

You and Wiley are surely a pair. I am not sure what sort of pair you are but come up here darlin' where I can take care of you both. He has been onto the bank again today. I am dizzy with all the changes he has made. LOL

It is so difficult nowadays to get help from tech support. I would help if they spoke English.

Re: Pat_B
Thank you for reminding me that life, and the things that happen, is an adventure. I fear I was only thinking of it as a problem, and as one thinks, so it becomes. Now you've got me looking forward to what will happen next, and the outcome of what I've done so far.

My brother in-law had something like that it showed a man mending his computer. Of course it was a scam but he does not keep anything worth stealing on his computer. Good job you changed details. I keep one card for payments that guarantees its security.

Sometimes, in light of the possibilities of adventures such as you
had yesterdays, I am tempted to go back to using a manual typewriter.
