Well ours is beginning to look overgrown but I noticed that Archie picked 4 bucketfuls of dahlias today but it was mizzling with rain. He wanted me to empty some large pots so he could dig the ground over to plant Sweet Williams. I did not fancy doing it in the rain, so he went off muttering.

The trouble is dogs do not live long enough I suppose the garden is OK as long as one does not plant potatoes over the spot. Yes we have to look forward.

Yes I have to keep forcing myself to look forward . Once one stops depression can creep in. Once the Romans used to grow grapes here and then it became too cold really ,but now it is changing again. Hope you feel a wee bit better.

Sad to think of dog burials, and makes a chill run up my spine
to contemplate taking an outdoor shower. Brrrrrrr. Looking forward to the massive blooms to come in spring.
