One can feel the amount of inner tension that is being felt in the poem while they are away.

Good and an interesting take for the two different age-groups.

You really capture the forlorn aura of their place, and it's good to know their absence is only a temporary one. And of course I wish you too would find the strength to do some travelling still...

This is wish fulfillment for nostalgic children's tradition love.

Re: RPresta
Both! I've always been prone to motion sickness. Everytime I've ever gone to a theme park, State Fair midway, carnival, circus, I have gotten terribly sick. I can't even watch my grandkids going around on a merry-go-round at the zoo. The last time I went to Disney World, approximately 25 years ago, I said never again.

Yes, it is sad to see them go but they do enjoy and it will be good for them all, except you, of course. Disney World or traveling is anathema to you, or both? Pictures will be great though.

Yes I can imagine Phil really being thrilled with those outings. Like you it would not cut much ice with me, but them one would not expect it to.

I hope they have a wonderful time and bring back photos
to share with Grandmother. Good that there wasn't much damage from the hurricane. :)
