That is odd they may cripple you though they are a safety feature, I would try and get an alternative,can't you wear them just when doing the chore?.

That is terrible to hear. I hope you can get around that rule cause it's a literal pain. I'm so sorry to hear that. Call me a heathen, but I don't do well with shoes. Sandals, okay.
