It has always been my effort to bring you all those things that elevate me, to share with you all dear readers. And in the process, when it does to people like you, it becomes a satisfying experience and also inspiring for me. Perhaps it must have been so for the early man, but that I could correlate the idea of repent to the kingdom of heaven was a satisfying exercise for me. Many thanks

Loved your reply too. Actually those who reach paradise do so in this life itself. As Milton says 'the mind is its own place; in itself can make a heaven of hell and a hell of heaven'. This is what you too have said. For those who enjoy paradise on earth do not get pulled down under the weight of rocks of sins down to the 'sea', Lol. You are one person I know who can only think good of all and sundry.

Aba, dear brother, I really liked reading this post, as I also enjoyed Kabu and CCT's comments. So much thought, concept, fact and theory has been put into this write that I can't believe you were able to cover the myriad topics so succinctly. Excellen writing! And again, for the second time today, I must say, I'm out of my league here, as I'm not erudite enough to further comment intelligently.

Perhaps the early conclusion by those trying to explain religion was to try to make it simple for the masses. They could understand those ways to which they were familiar.
Thus Gates, and doorways, and the fires of Hell. It would have been difficult to express something of which they did not really have the experience.

loved this, I could enjoy sitting and discussing this with you for I believe that the highest level of attainment is not meant for me. I am too much of the flesh, and I have faith that I will reach paradise.
Now whether that is after this life or not I do not know, but I have always felt that i came to this life from the sea. maybe that is where i long to return maybe it wasn't my knowledge of the sea but of some soup mixture that is itself part of the Universe. Whatever awaits though I feel peace and although I don't expect to be eager to leave what I know today, I know i will go on. I believe only in hell in so far as we can make our own hell by total rejection of a higher power and master mind that is the Alpha and Omega for all and for eternity.
