I am giving thanks that she down graded as she did. Still causing a lot of grief and expense, but not as bad as first feared.

At times one must be thankful for small mercies. I think it must have been in the late fifties Pat a storm hit a coastal village and proceeded to the next and so on the water came up to the ceilings, no one was aware of the storm advancing as there were practically no home phones to warn even the next community. Hard to believe, but I knew chaps who were drafted to help.

Hot & Muggy with no power for A/C for at least a week and a few roof shingles blown off is not a bad result for such a thing as Irma. Preacher (and I) very thankful.
