This one is so interesting in that it begs for an answer; yet it doesn't. It's true we build on knowledge that we have acquired, and we obtain that knowledge from myriad sources, as I feel Charles and Hank would probably concur, :) but if we take something word-for-word and call it our own, and it is not, then there is at times the possibility of a moral issue. But if the idea is general and we expound upon it, based upon our collective information and knowledge, and then we transfer and translate that into our own, it's a different story. But that's not your point, is it? LOL. Your point is well-taken.
