A great history lesson for us all. This shows how universities ended up getting taken over by this strand of left.
I also think, too, that technology has played a major role, plus Western guilt over past acts (indigenous genocide, Holocausts, etc.).

Excellent, Naut! Thank you. I do so enjoy learing, and thank you for taking the time and having the patience to help those of us who are not well-versed on this topic to further understand what has happened. What I take from this is possibly, in part, that there has been a distortion of what had begun as selected portions of nuanced thoughts and theories to the point where it/they became accepted as truth in fact?

Another factor, which you'll no doubt come to, is that for at least the
first half of the 20th century, all the "Christian" nations were doing a pretty good job of wiping out millions of "infidels" without any help from the Islamists.
