I have a twitter account but rarely use it.  That's sad.   It's probably the truth and the people involved do not want to be exposed.  It's a serious issue that people should be aware of!

I cannot say enough bad about those who mistreat little children, for any reason at all.  We must stand up for the rights and well-being of all who are mistreated through no fault of their own.

Reading this shows that social media is very much apart of the stereotypical media. I do not see that changing any time soon.

Ha - but FB doesn't get away with neglecting people who stand up for Israel. We're all out there and say our piece!

I don't tweet twitter or sing the same song day after day. OK the World is a mess but I want my last few coherent years to be lived without constant worry from outside my domain.

Nautikos

I don't know anything much about Twitter, but I do know that FGM is, to me, particularly abhorrent, as is any form of abuse, especially child abuse.

I don't know either side to this story...but I do know that twitter doesn't remove people unless they've been bullying or harassing another member.  The offended need to provide evidence of the abuse, and it usually has to be pretty bad.  They don't pull the plug easily.

Even if her intent is good, if she was harassing someone directly, even if they are inglorious bastards in life, well, it's not allowed.
