I know many people from Facebook that had their account hacked. Signs are:
Few friends on their profile
Messaging you strange request
wanting money
Actually it happened to me once where a man told me I won grant money and needed my SSN I blocked him then.

Getting Your Twitter account hacked is terrible! I guess there's no shortage of disgusting jerks. I'm in no danger - I don't tweet!
