Here we had a 70 per cent eclipse on a cloudless day. It did turn a little darker - a bit like late afternoon. And since I had left things too long and there were no safe glasses left anywhere, I looked at in the box I had built, as well as on TV. It was no big deal, and our animals ddin't seem to notice at all...
