I get the feeling that Trump ran on a bet.  I think he bet someone that he could be elected as president.

Sadly it does not matter who gets in power, it will not go own well with the other 40%.

Do you know Taps the worst thing I think is if one cannot make up ones mind when two options are on the table. I remember once being awake nearly all night flipping from one action to another it nearly drove be bonkers..

I am not sure if Trump regrets the decision to run for president. I do believe that there many who regret voting for him.

Sometimes our impulsive decisions weigh on our lives for a long time,

if not "forever." As for those questions on the election and whether some voters may wish they'd done something different, I for one do not regret voting for the one I considered the most qualified who had the country's interests in mind.

TAPS

Oh, so true, on so many levels, dear TAPS. We do try our best, with the information we are given, and using our ability to process that information, then utilizing our innate filtering of it all, and then... We float it until the last second, at times. Our senses are overloaded by media of all kinds; information overflow, I call it. And we will continue to try to do our best; we must. Wonderful quote. Wonderful post.
