I have been to a few parties where I felt that I was out of my element...It is nice how we have technology to enable us to keep tabs on our relatives. There are a lot of people who I had falle out of contact with for years...Oh, yes, there are advantages to age.

TAPS
You need do what's best for you, dear TAPS. They may come to visit you. It IS difficult to attend a function as you describe. And your poor niece! I sympathize with her. The poor girl.

I have noticed since I've gotten older that I try to avoid parties with a lot of people around.

Once upon a time we wouldn't have missed a good party for anything! Then we change. And as you say, there's an advantage.
