Oh go on and enjoy your guilt trip and have major attack because of the heat.
You and I am guessing Justi and taps, all special to me don't take enough care of yourselves in the weather, just like Wiley... And was that neck shoulder pain from sitting to long over the computer or do you get angina.
The more I love you all the more the old nurse pops up her head. I am glad and giving thanks that you are not going out tomorrow. I cannot be without you.

No reason to feel guilty over being snarky at that old biddy - being considerate of others is supposed to be a two-way street! And by all means - allow your ladies to invite you and enjoy your lunch!

When I saw the first words of this post on the front page here, I thought, 'I didn't see a post yesterday...' Then I read on. I agree with what everyone has posted to you about it. Go to the lunch or who knows what they may come up with next!

I'm trying to chicken out on a birthday luncheon for me. Dreading the thought of it even though I love the people involved.

People need to say thank you to balance a perceived indebtedness.
And though you minimize it, you have been there and done what no one else stepped up to do.
Maybe you should let them thank you with lunch. Otherwise they might send you a big potted houseplant or something.

I wonder if this psychological Pat . Are you priming yourself for the intended move.
I know you love your vocation, but it is not so hot travelling in winter. Just a thought.
