Here at the edge of the Rockies, we are not catching quite the heat that both the southwest and midwest are suffering. I try to remember this as the heat we do have swells my ankles and makes me cranky.

It is too hot here Pat and then it drops cold. One hardly dare work in the sun and I did put the heating on yesterday. You are not alone, I had to water the plants twice today, it becomes boring.

I guess I'm fortunate - I don't mind the heat at all, though Bennie doesn't like it! But I hate having to carry my brolly along when I take him for his walks...

Yes, I understand that feeling of a fear of getting out in the heat even for just a bit. I was overcome once by the heat for going to a picnic on a day that turned out to be 104o.
