Re:

It sure sounds like war to me.  I've see several clips on the news and it is just awful.

Naut

I lived in Germany for 4 years, in the early 80's while in the Army,  so I have some personal experience in this matter,  as you do.  Germany is now suffering an assault from two different directions......  the Muslim immigrants and the liberal extremists / anarchists.  Sadly,  I don't think the traditional conservative Germans will survive much longer,  unless they step up to the plate and fight this two-pronged war with much more urgency.

And it is war,  as you and I have pointed out.  We do not have to think we are in a war,  to be in a war.  It only takes one side,  the predatory abusive side,  to conduct a war.  If the other side,  that being us,  does not think they are in a war,  then so much the better for the predators!!  They are in war mode all the time,  and if we are not,  then they can defeat us sooner.  Cheers

All protesters should be jailed as far as I'm concerned.

I'm one of the very few that doesn't believe protesting solves anything.  So many people just jump into the group because they want to feel part of something but they don't even know what they're standing for.   I saw this in person with occupy wall street... it's like the case of lemmings.  People need to get to work... write letters... join causes or donate.  Standing in the street and yelling at strangers?  Doesn't amount to anything.

My only question is how do we know if it was left or right that caused the riots?
