I am not too keen on all these pride things either. I do feel those Pride events contribute to the hostility of some toward homosexuality.
These political times are making for some strange bedfellows. At some point, something has to change, I would think.

this makes me dizzy. It could be the few drinks I had tonight...lol... but overall, I think it's sad that the kindest and most generous will lend support but never get it in return. I always hope for people to have hearts and to feel empathy... and I'm constantly disappointed in the lack of humanity. This is why I don't like to watch the news anymore.
but... did you see the first lady of Poland snub Trump's handshake? It may have been an accident but the look on his face was priceless. LOL This made my night.

It is too much for me. I love my nephew and his husband but I'm growing farther and farther away from them, their activities, their friends, his writings, his pride, etc. It is just that I have no interest in all of that. Flaunting is just not my bag.

Like you, it makes no difference to me what the sexual orientation of a person is. One would think those in the LBGT community would understand what you are saying here. :)
