Boy do I remember "Let's Pretend". We would sit in front of the Philco console looking into space and imagining our own pictures to go with the stories.

The great pretender was a pretty good song though...
We didn't have TV until 1965 and so much stopped...less family chat, less work on knitting and crochet, less piano time and sing songs together.
I still prefered to go to bed and listen to my favorite shows on the radio.
