Naut
Personally, after all my diligent research, similar to yours, I have no doubt that Momammed was a real person, and that he was a physical and spiritual predator, a major league predator, and that most of the horrific accounts of his crimes and atrocities are true.
Further, on the spiritual side of things, I think he was the enemy's attempt to destroy and cancel out the great influence of the earlier prophets on the side of Goodness and Light (Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Buddha, Krishna and others)....... and by all indications, it has been a smashing success, and I do mean smashing.
Mohammed and his predatory metaphysical sponsors have succeeded in establishing a major world religion, with predatory and abusive values (not to mention irredeemable), whose goal is to violently destroy and eliminate all other religions, and their followers. They are well on their way to accomplishing that dreadful goal, and gaining much momentum in the past few years. Cheers

Good thoughts. But FYI... the reason I corrected your statement (RE: Faith vs individual) was because you noted that it was something I said or agreed with, and I do not. :)

Interesting as always, Naut. After reading these few
admonitions about how a man is to treat women/wives - I'm beginning to think DJT may be following some of the Koran, at least as far as his behavior toward women is concerned. Similar quotes had been memorized from the Bible by my first husband, and he took literally the concept of wife-beating. Since my liberation I've tended to avoid all guys who expressed devotion to the holy spirit of any denomination. And age-induced invisibility ain't entirely a bad thing.

Nautikos
This post has many salient points, speaking in 'general terms,' of course, for matters of discussion, but also, do we not have to think in specific terms when it comes to identifying anyone at all who intends harm to individuals or masses of individuals?

It is amazing that as politcally correct as we are, the west is sympathetic toward Islam.
It makes me think of when Obama blamed the video for Benghazi. Even if true, a video does not justify violence.
