Re: Re: Re: Kabu
Send me one via the Blogit email. When I get that, I will send you my new one. I can't send it now because your email was on a list I now can't get. Big mess isn't it. LOL

Re: Ciel
Boo hoo. Now I no longer get email notice of your new additions of your photos. I guess they are still sending that to Yahoo.

Re: Kabu
The email address you have that ends in Yahoo.com is no longer any good.

Re: CCG
If you have one that says "yahoo.com" it is no good now. Send me something from the Blogit email place and I'll reply from the new one.

I have that problem with passwords as well. I got so many different accounts floating around that I end up forgetting and mixing them up. Passwords, security questions, user names and resets can be a big hassle.

This is what I hate most about dealing with Microsoft:
They change things I don't want changed and give me no option to retain the system I am familiar with. Password resetting is just part of it.

There's an app that stores all your passwords so that you have to remember only one - I haven't got it yet, but may soon. So far I'm still hangin' in there, remembering...

i am like you My passwords are any and everywhere. I started a book with mine one end and Wiley's the other but over time they got changed or never used so if someone thought aha now I will steal her stuff...not that htere is much to steal...they wouldn't get far.
ps. I don't kave a smart phone or anything either.

Why not get a little address book and keep all your websites and their passwords in it?

Re: RPresta
Sorry you also are having trouble with that. What a mess. Not Kabu. She has the one I can't get into now and my list of contacts was there so I will have to do something about that. I don't have hers anymore for now.

I'm like you in that aspect; I have so many passwords written on scraps and yellow stickies and all stuck in a manila folder. Not smart, especially now that I've had to change a few of them. Yahoo on June 8 was taken over by Verizon, and new passwords were required. I have been shut out of my account also, but managed to get back in. How? Different computer, and 3 or 4 tries with different new passwords... Rrrhh!
I can't use Blogit to contact Blogit or Blogit members, for some reason! It all bounces. And I don't know if any messages from me go through to any members, few as that has been. So if anyone contacts me, and it seems I don't answer, I have if it's directly. Whew!
My guess is that it's Kabu who has your email address?

hahhahahaha ... love the robot issue. Close all your windows and try again later. Give it time to forget that you tried to spam it like a robot. :)

agree with the comment that you should be able to retrieve your password. But if not, I also subscribe to the theory of choosing one unique word (not your pet or anything to do with you) and then adding numbers to it in a sequence (not 123). And you can use the same for your accounts and change them at the same time. If you forget one, at least you know the last few iterations of what it would have been.
This is not advised by the tech world... but writing them all down in a notebook isn't smart either.

Re: Pat_B
I went through that at least eight times and we always got stuck on "Are you a Robot?" For some reason I could not prove to them that I was not a Robot.

Some email folk will allow you to change the password when you've
forgotten that one. Since Yahoo is a big vendor, they ought to have that option, however I am also tech-challenged so could be 100% wrong on this. Good luck with this...
